In honor of the dog days of summer (and the fact that my air conditioning was fixed), I’m posting this free Scribus postcard template with a pool service theme.
Like the Technology themed template I posted the other day, this template is for an oversized postcard with the finished dimensions of 8.5 inches by 5.5 inches.
I really like the simplicity of the image in this postcard. Without any ado, it tells an uncomplicated and alluring story. This picture was harvested from Pixabay.com, one of the best free image services on the net.
To further the relaxed nature of the photo, I chose a sandy brown color scheme that goes well with the blue. Combined with the Free Avant Garde font, the vibe slightly echoes a beach club or vacation spot advertisement.
On the flip side of the card, I put the space for special offers…. of course.
As always, this is a free template. If you do use it and are feeling gracious I would love it if you put a link on your website to my blog, website, fb page, etc.

This template was built using Scribus V 1.5.4. To use this Scribus Template:
- download and inflate the compressed file.
- Start Scribus on your computer.
- Select the “Open Existing Document” tab.
- Navigate to the folder you just inflated: “Postcard-8×6-Tech”.
- Inside that folder select the file titled Postcard-8×6-Tech.sla.gz”.
- Click “OK”.
